Picture Perfect

Jennifer Aniston plays Kate, a 27 year old women aspiring to rise to the top of the advertising agency she works for, but comes to find that in order to rise to the top you must dress for the job you want. After being told kate dosen't have what it takes to play the part (a home, husband etc.) she sets out to find the right man that will help get her where she wants to be.
Sam (Kevin Bacon) works for the same advertising agency and kate has her eyes set on him, but sam dosen't believe kate has what it takes to make him happy, because sam only like's dating women who are attatched, so kate hires Nick (Jay Mohr) to play her fiance so that Sam will see what he's missing. But when kate starts falling for Nick she comes to find that everything in life dosen't have to be perfect.
I thought this was a fun romantic comedy.

Movie of the Month.

I have decided that it would be fun to have a movie spotligh each month.

For the month of August I chose The Notebook.

This is one of my all time favorites. I like romanitc films especially ones that make you believe in love like this one does. If you've not seen it yet check it out and make sure you have a box of tissues handy.

Great flick! One of the best romantic movies i've ever seen!

GI Joe The Rise of Cobra

I have to say G.I. Joe was ten times better than I had anticipated! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Duke and his military sidekick Ripcord are asked to assist the elite team known as G.I. JOE in a fight to stop Destro, one of the worlds most deadliest weapons dealer's from his plot of trying to destroy world.

Before Duke and Ripcord are allowed to help take down Destro they must first go through some intense G.I. Joe training and prove they have what it takes to help win the fight.

As Duke,Ripcord and the Joe's prepare for battle, Destro and the Mysterious Cobra Organization have plotted to test out one of their newest weapon's by destroying the ever famous Eiffle Tower in Paris France. Now in a race to save the Eiffle tower and possibly the world from the wrath of Destro, the Joes are on a non stop action packed hunt (literally) that will take them from Paris, to the Egyptian Desert and even Deep beneath the polar ice caps in hopes to stop destro and the secret organization known as the Cobra before it's to late!

Highly Recommended if you like a great action movie! This one does not disappoint and is suprisingly more entertaining than the first blockbuster of the summer, Transformers.

The Time Travelers Wife

I have to say, this movie has made my mind think ever since i saw it last weekend. First I couldn't come to the conclusion as to wether I liked it or not, but I actually ended up liking it due to its unique story.

Claire has been in love with henry for as long as she can remember, but she has no idea when henry will be around because he is a time traveler. Henry for as long as he can remember has had the ability to go back and forth through time wether it be traveling into the future or back in time. When Claire and Henry are able to be together, they spend every waking moment with each other due to the fact that Henry has no idea when he will suddenly leave again. The more time they are with each other the more they both realize they never want to be apart again. And so Henry and Claire get married and life as they know it is perfect, that is until Henry's time traveling takes him away from Claire at bigger lengths of time. As their marriage continues Claire and Henry search for a way for him to be able to escape the time traveling for good so that he can spend his life with claire and their daughter for good and not worry about leaving when they need him the most.

I like this movie alot, it was different than I thought it would be but all in all Great Movie!

Derek Charles, a sucessful asset manager, has just recieved a huge promotion from his job. Everything is great in his life and he is happier than ever with his wife and son. But when a new temp Lisa (Ali larter) becomes his recptionist for a few days, everything in Dereks life takes a turn for the worst when Lisa starts stalking Derek and puts his life and marriage in jeapordy!

Great suspense movie! Ali Larter pulled it off as a true Pshyco!

Julie and Julia

Shortly after moving to france, in 1946, to support her husband in his job relocation, Julia Childs (Streep) has a hard time adapting to her local surroundings. After days of trying to learn the language and figuring out what it is she wants to do with her new life, Julia decides to take Cooking lessons, and the rest is history (No really it is) Before Long Julia becomes one of the worlds most famous chefs and becomes the author of several cookbooks. Julie's Storie takes place in the year 2002 so you can see that the movie takes place between both eras, and they pull it off very well. Julie works in a cubicle from nine to five and is afraid that her life is going no where. Shortly after moving to Queens New York with her husband, Julie decides that she wants to create a blog and work her way through the Julia Childs CookBook in One Year. 364 Days and 5oo plus recipes later Julie realizes that with a little passion for cooking and butter anything is possible.

I enjoyed this movie alot! Meryl Streep did an amazing job of potraying Julia Childs, I've never even seen the real Julia Childs, but I would Like to imagine she was everything that Streep portrayed her to be. Amy Adams pulled of a charming role as well.

Hope the Rumor is True....

There has been rumor that a Friends Movie is underway, and I hope it's true because it is one of my all time favorite shows and I think they could do a lot with a movie. We will keep our fingures crossed!!! Let me know what you all think about the idea of a Friends Movie?
