Coraline has just moved into a new home with her mother and father. From day one Coraline hates her new home clamming it to be boring and with her father and mother constantly busy with work they simply have no time to spend with her. But one day while roaming about her new surroundings, Coraline discovers a hidden door that leads to another world, a world that is exactly like the one she comes from only one difference, she has a new set of parents that look exactly like the ones she already has, except for one difference, they have Buttons for EYES! In her new world Coraline's "Other" mother and father have all the time in the world to spend with her. After each visit with her other Mother and Father she is put to bed and then wakes up in her old room wishing she could always wake up in her new home and spend limitless amounts of time with her other mother and father. But one day when Coraline goes for a visit to see her other mother, she discovers a secret, her other mother dosen't ever want her to leave again! And in order for her to stay forever, Coraline must replace her old eyes with Buttons! Upon refusing to do so Coralines other mother turns from being the loving great new mom Coraline thinks she is into the one thing Coraline fears the most!

What a fun movie! It makes for a fun spooky halloween film!

The Proposal

When Margaret Tate, a high level Book Editor is told she is going to be deported back to her native canada, she comes up with the idea to black mail her assistant Andrew Paxton and that is that if he dosen't agree to marry her just until she gets her green card renewed he will lose his job. Andrew agrees on one condition, margaret must go with him back to alaska to help celebrate his grandmothers 90th birthday and meet the family. The unlikley couple head out to meet the family and when they arrive the show begins! Andrew and Margaret must prove to the family that their love is real, but through the weekend Margaret and Andrew fall for each other and come to find that this just might be the real deal!

I thought this was cute! fun date movie, it definitely had a lot of laughs!

One of the Best films so far this year! Will definitely keep you on the edge of your seats!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Went and saw the sixth installment of the Harry Potter series last night and I gotta say, My favorite Harry Potter Yet!!! Everything in this movie was well done, from the acting to the way the director (David Yates) Handled the material as well as the storyline, he kept everything pretty close to the book. I will say for those who haven't read the Harry Potter books and have only watched the movies, you may be a little lost, so I would recommend that you if anything at least read the sixth book before you go see it, It will help answer some questions. This movie was well worth the full price of admission.

Can't Wait to See This!!!

Me, my sweet wife and our friends erik and chelsey are going to see this tomorrow night! I hear it's one of the best harry potter films yet!

17 Again

Mike O'Donnell had it all at the age of 17. He was the #1 player on the high school basketball team and had the greatest girl anyone could ever ask for. It's years later and Mike (played by Matthew Perry) now has pretty much what any guy could ask for. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two great childern, theres only one problem, mikes wife is wanting a divorce because he has put his work before his family for way to long. Wishing he could turn things around mike one night on his way home from work stops by his old high school to think things through. While mike is walking down memory lane he runs into a mysterious janitor who asks him if wishes he could do it all over again, mike of course say's that he wishes he could. Little does he know he is about to get exactly what he asked for. On his way home from the high school mike see's someone standing on a bridge preparing to jump, mike pulls over and runs to help the stranger but when he gets to the edge of the bridge where the stranger jumped he see's a vortex in the water and in it he see's the face of the troubled stranger as if he were asking for someone to save him. Mike leans over and falls into the Vortex and ends up back in his senior year of high school. Now mike (played by Zac Efron) is 17 again, only one problem it's the present day. Upon realizing what has happened Mike enrolls back into high school in the hopes to help his kids that he was never there for and to win back his wife before it's to late and all the while learning the lessons he wished he had learned before.

A great movie! I laughed a lot during this one and I was suprised at how well Zac Efron fit into his Character. Three Stars ***

Last Chance Harvey

Harvey writes jingles for a living, and his life it seems has come to a stop. His daughter is getting married in london and as harvey heads out for the weekend to help his daughter celebrate her wedding, his boss tells him to extend his trip, at hearing this harvey worries that his career might come to an end. As Harvey arrives in England the welcoming he was expecting from his daughter and ex-wife was not what he was quite expecting. Turns out that his ex-wife rented a house big enough for everyone to share exept harvey and harvey soon finds that his daughter wants her stepfather to give her away instead of him. On the day of his daughters wedding harvey gets a call from his boss simply telling him that he is done with the company. On the same day that all of this happens Harvey meets Kate (played by Emma Thompson). Harvey and Kate spend a day of sharing their hopes and dreams with one another and all the while they end up falling for each other. Harvey realizes that by meeting kate his life as it were may not be over and there still might be time for a second chance.

Cute Movie, I was Suprised! Definetly worth checking out.

Hannah Montana The Movie

Miley Stewart has the best of both worlds, being able to be a regular teen by day and then getting to be a rockstar (Hannah Montana) at night. She has everything a girl could ever dream! When the things in Mileys life get out of hand and she starts putting her rockstar life before the things that really matter most, her father Robbie Ray decides that the Hannah faze of her life needs to end and that its the perfect time to take her back to her roots, Crowley Corners Tennesse, in the hopes that she will come to her sense's. Miley then decides that she wants nothing to do with where Tennesse and decides she wants to live her life the way she wants, but after spending some time in Tennesse with her close family and friends Miley finally realizes that sometimes it is enough just to have the best of one world, so which will she choose?

This was a great movie for kids and adults, it had a cute story and it was very well acted.

My Sisters Keeper

Brian and Sara Fitzgerald's life with their son jesse and daughter kate changes forever when they find out that kate has leukemia. Through the struggles that brian and sara now face they realize they have only one decision, to conceive another child to save kates life. For some such genetic engineering would raise some serious questions, but as for sara it is all about doing whatever it takes to save kates life. Anna and Kate throught the years gain a much stronger relationship than most sisters and as kate grows older she realizes that her very life depends on Anna. Through all the trials of Kates Lukemic state, sara has no other focus than to do what it takes to give her daughter the life she may never have. At age 11 Anna decides to seeks medical emancipation and hires a lawyer in the fight to win the rights to her own body, and hoping that the decision she has made dose not tear her family apart and leaves kates failing body into the hands of fate.

This was a really great movie, it was exactly what I was expecting, A definite tear jerker as well as heartwarming and it had a score that carried the emotion of the film beautifully.
