
Mike O'Donnell had it all at the age of 17. He was the #1 player on the high school basketball team and had the greatest girl anyone could ever ask for. It's years later and Mike (played by Matthew Perry) now has pretty much what any guy could ask for. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two great childern, theres only one problem, mikes wife is wanting a divorce because he has put his work before his family for way to long. Wishing he could turn things around mike one night on his way home from work stops by his old high school to think things through. While mike is walking down memory lane he runs into a mysterious janitor who asks him if wishes he could do it all over again, mike of course say's that he wishes he could. Little does he know he is about to get exactly what he asked for. On his way home from the high school mike see's someone standing on a bridge preparing to jump, mike pulls over and runs to help the stranger but when he gets to the edge of the bridge where the stranger jumped he see's a vortex in the water and in it he see's the face of the troubled stranger as if he were asking for someone to save him. Mike leans over and falls into the Vortex and ends up back in his senior year of high school. Now mike (played by Zac Efron) is 17 again, only one problem it's the present day. Upon realizing what has happened Mike enrolls back into high school in the hopes to help his kids that he was never there for and to win back his wife before it's to late and all the while learning the lessons he wished he had learned before.
A great movie! I laughed a lot during this one and I was suprised at how well Zac Efron fit into his Character. Three Stars ***
